Detox Chocolate Fudge
I used to LOVE making the traditional sweetened condensed milk, fluff fudge at the holidays or remember going to an amusement park or Niagara-on-the-Lake with the homemade fudge slabs. Desserts, in my opinion, should be rich and sweet. This recipe is so much more. Delicious with the knowledge of whole food nourishment. No sugar crashing. Great combination of protein and healthy fats!

  1. Place the avocado and dates in a food processor and blend until creamy. Add cashews and coconut oil. Process. Can leave nuts a little chunky or blend smooth. Add remaining ingredients and process until a sticky dough forms. Transfer dough to a parchment lined loaf pan or 8 by 8 square dish. Press into the pan firmly. Sprinkle turmeric and sea salt over and place in freezer for 4-6 hours … if you can wait that long! Remove and cut into individual bars. Store in fridge or freezer. ENJOY!
